Meet Tyler

Hello. My name is Tyler, and I am the creator of Big Business Reads (BBR). I am 34 years of age, and I reside in western Canada. I work as a financial professional. I am a licensed, independant contractor with some of the biggest companies in the industry. I service clients with insurance, debt management, retirement planning, and investing. I enjoy playing sports. I played sports at a high level growing up, and into my adulthood. I like going to the movies (especially at the old and time-enriched movie theatres). I love spending time with family and friends. Hanging out at a coffee shop or cafe slowly drinking up a great cup of coffee is something I enjoy doing whether with company or by myself. I like to draw portraits, and write poetry. I also enjoy doing stand up comedy.

I decided to create BBR because I appreciate reading business self help books, and I want to share and engage with a wider audience on the material I read and the material that others read. I enjoy sharing experiences and different or similar viewpoints with others. Interacting here at Big Business Reads is a great way to do that.

I hope that you find tremendous value and inspiration here at BBR, and that you continue to come back to engage and help make this site what I envision moving forward. That is a community of entrepreneurs big and small, as well as people in employment positions who have taken strong aim at moving up with the company they work with. I want this to be a community where all come here to be around like-minded entrepreneurial minded and big vision thinkers. Let’s all gather more inspiration here to better prepare for the coming building blocks that need to be put in place in order to continue to grow and succeed in our respected fields.

No matter what stage we are at in our careers or how much success we have attained, there is always in all of us some sort of sprouting and breaking through concrete that we can achieve and experience.

Onwards and upwards!          🙂

  1. Hello Tyler! Great post! I like reading about people’s lives and what they enjoy doing. I read one where they just talked about why they are interested in their business and nothing else. It is so awesome that you enjoy writing poetry! I am an artist myself. I give you credit for helping people in this field. Good luck with your business.

  2. Dear Tyler
